Welcome to Hilltop Village

Building Healthy Communities, Tribes and Villages

Be a Catalyst - Live With Purpose

Create the world you want to live in.

Hilltop is a fun place for people of all ages to come together and discover their creative side. Here we have space for learning different crafts, building a community garden or taking a music class.

Members of the community could form groups they are interested in like knitting groups or book clubs and meet at Hilltop Village.

People everywhere are realizing how isolated and lonely we truly are.

Books such as “Un-lonely Planet” by Jillian Richardson address the need for building healthy communities by facilitating healthy connections to enrich the quality of life through meaningful relationships.

Our desire at Hilltop Village is to be a catalyst in our community to break down isolation among neighbors, sharing our common humanity and inspiring others to do the same. Our dream is to make a difference in the quality of life by people coming together, helping each other and enriching lives by spending time celebrating each other’s gifts and talents.

We invite you to explore new ways of community and tribe building. We want to encourage connections and friendships. These books explore these topics and are very relevant in this time.

The present online interest groups can easily transform to exciting neighborhood community living, something more and more desirable again.

We are located in NW Hagerstown, situated on 4 acres of land with picturesque views. Here we have space for learning different crafts, building a community garden or taking a music class.

Members of the community are forming interest groups, like arts and crafts or book clubs, meeting online at this time and later at Hilltop Village. It is a place for people of all ages to come together and discover their creative side.

Directions

As you can tell from the maps, we are very close to routes 40, 81 and 70.  No matter which direction you come from, you will end up at the traffic circle (Cearfoss round-about) in Cearfoss. From there, take Rt 58 W (Cearfoss Pike) for 0.3 miles.

On the left hand side of the road you will pass first Nicewonder Road, then an open field, and a brick house and a 600 ft. driveway next to it, across from a row of mailboxes on your right.  Turn onto the driveway and continue all the way up to the top of the hill. If you can't find the entrance to the driveway call us at 301-437-3284 John, 301-537-2848 Hilde.
